Killer two song 7″ from the prolific Pat Todd and his Rankoutsiders. Both tracks are non-LP and exclusive to this release. Get on it!
We’ve been fans of former Lazy Cowgirl Pat Todd for over three decades, and he’s hands-down one of our favorite singer-songwriters EVER. So, it’s a real honor for us to be releasing a 7” single by him and his smokin’ band The Rankoutsiders. Coming hot on the heels of their new album “…there’s pretty things in Palookaville…” (on Hound Gawd! Records), our release features two exclusive non-LP tracks that you won’t want to miss. “You Might Be Through With The Past…” is a blazing slice of P.T. wisdom delivered with fire, passion and wailing blues harp. The bluesy vibe continues on the flipside “Ruby Baby”, a cover of a rock & roll classic that’s been recorded countless times by such legends as Dion, Del Shannon, Ronnie Hawkins, The Beach Boys, and a shit-ton of others. Needless to say, Pat slams it out of the ballpark.
This release is sure to please Pat’s legion of diehard fans (and there’s a lot of us out there) and a good starter for the uninitiated.
